I bought the land, secured planning consent on appeal and sold the project to a local family. The conservation area is an odd mix of large Victorian villas, modern flats and lock-up garages, but the ambience is leafy, quiet and secure. The house is single storey and “H” shape in plan. This configuration created an entrance courtyard [see CGI] a bedroom court-garden and a larger family garden with a pond integrated with a deck that runs outside the fully glazed living spaces [see CGI].
